Exotic-looking with an array of structural variation in their blossoms, orchids are often overlooked or simply not for sale compared with other fresh floral items. There’s a huge diversity of orchids, but they tend to have rather fleshy flowers that make them nice additions to bouquets. Join Mahonia’s Floral Coordinator + Designer Mike Ojeda for a floral demonstration celebrating the possibilities with orchid blossoms and/or sprays in a small-size table arrangement as well as for a grander bouquet composition. Enjoy a glass of rosé or mimosa during this early-afternoon program.
Instructor: Mike Ojeda
Although we are unable to refund registration fees in the case of cancellation by the purchaser, the paid registration can be transferred to another student. In this case, please notify Allison Whitehouse at firstname.lastname@example.org or 502-276-5404 with the name of who will attend in your place. Multi-event series cannot be transferred. In the event that Waterfront Botanical Gardens cancels a class for any reason (e.g. low enrollment, instructor unavailability, natural hazard, etc.), we will attempt to reschedule the class or event. If there is no reschedule, the purchaser will be issued a full refund. Refunds are issued by check only. Beargrass Canoe Tours have a different policy with no refunds under any circumstance because of river and weather volatility.
In the event of an emergency cancellation, the Gardens will contact registered students with a cancellation notice (always provide/maintain a current email address and phone number so that we may notify you of an emergency or cancellation). The Gardens will attempt to reschedule classes cancelled due to an emergency event if possible.
