Let’s explore some trees and their woods from Central and South America!
During this lecture, Janice Staugas revisits the basics of trees with you. She’ll explore the question, “What is a tree?” Learn the life cycle, uses, significance and more of tropical American tree wood.
The discussion will evolve into an exploration of rainforests. Experience Mexico, Central America, and South America through their trees. Appreciate the beauty of these trees’ woods made into bowls, spoons, platters, and more!
*Note: This is NOT a woodturning or carpentry class. The specimens presented during this class are not for sale.
