DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, October 22 \n6:30 – 7:30pm \nGraeser Family Education Center \n$15\, $10 WBG members (use code WBGMEMBER at checkout to receive discount) \nWaterfront Botanical Gardens brings a new series to our Wellness Program with Tai Ji at the Gardens. Also written as ‘Tai Chi’\, this low-impact\, slow-motion exercise is often described as “meditation in motion.” From the air-conditioned comfort of inside the Graeser Family Education Center\, enjoy a sense of being outdoors in the Gardens with views out of the floor-to-ceiling windows. Don’t worry about humidity\, mosquitoes\, or rain! \nWear comfortable\, loose clothing that will not restrict your range of motion. \nYou may practice barefoot or in lightweight shoes with thin soles that allow you to feel the floor (running shoes are unsuitable). \nSocial distancing and face masks are required during the session. \n  \nRegister Here \nRefund Policy \nAlthough we are unable to refund registration fees in the case of cancellation by the purchaser\, the paid registration can be transferred to another student. In the event that Waterfront Botanical Gardens cancels a class for any reason (e.g. low enrollment\, instructor unavailability\, natural hazard\, etc.)\, we will attempt to reschedule the class or event. If there is no reschedule\, the purchaser will be issued a full refund. Refunds are issued by check only. Beargrass Canoe Tours have a different policy with no refunds under any circumstance because of river and weather volatility. \nEmergency Cancellation \nIn the event of an emergency cancellation\, the Gardens will contact registered students with a cancellation notice (always provide/maintain a current email address and phone number so that we may notify you of an emergency or cancellation). The Gardens will attempt to reschedule classes cancelled due to an emergency event if possible.

Sara discusses the history of preserving fruits and vegetables from the garden and focuses on the importance of communal cooking and how it has been affected during the wildness of 2020. \nChef Bradley will share her recipes of the food dishes served at the Graeser Family Education Center with both in-person and virtual attendees.
