Family Programs
Second SundayS Family Program
Children ages 5-12 and their grown-ups are invited to the Graeser Family Education Center on the second Sunday of each month for an afternoon program that includes stories, nature-based learning stations, a craft, and lots of fun. Pre-registration is required by the Friday ahead of the program.
Time: 1 – 2:30pm
Cost: WBG members: $10 per child; Non-members $15 per child
**There is no fee for adults, but they must accompany a paying child.

As the days get longer, our ecosystem gets greener! Participants will learn how plants use air, sun, and water to make sugars so they can grow!
Whatever the Weather
Apr. 11
April Showers bring…lots of opportunities for your junior meteorologist to learn about weather phenomena. Participants will explore how scientists use tools to measure wind & precipitation and discuss how weather is predicted.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Spend the day identifying ways you can show love to your planet by reducing your trash! Participants will also learn about the former landfill that sits under our garden.
Bees will Buzz
May 9
Spend a spring day in the garden investigating how bees, butterflies, and birds help our garden through pollination.
DIY Workshops for Middle and High Schoolers
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to our DIY Studio Workshops. Within these one hour drop-off programs, students create a botanical themed project to bring home. Light refreshments will be served. Pick-up is promptly at 3pm.
Pre-registration is required by the Friday ahead of the program.
Time: 2-3pm
