We are thrilled to share the news that we achieved our 2016 goal of raising $4.2 million total for the future Waterfront Botanical Gardens!
We began 2016 having raised just under $2 million total for the project. During the course of the past 12 months, we raised an additional $2.2 million, bringing our total raised to $4.2 million.
Our support has grown in other ways as well. During 2016, over 1,040 individuals provided financial support to the organization. That’s a 30% increase over the 799 total supporters who gave during the 2015 calendar year.
We have come so far, but our work is not yet complete. Our board, staff, and volunteers have been working diligently to keep the momentum going with our plans for 2017. It’s going to be a very exciting year for our organization!
