YOUR SUPPORT CAN MAKE THE GARDENS A REALITY
The generous support of our community has brought us closer than ever to breaking ground. During 2015, 799 donors provided over $1.4 million in financial support to the garden effort. That’s nearly double the number of supporters – and triple the amount of funding – than the previous year.
Membership has its privileges
Our members get an inside view as we realize the vision of building Louisville’s Waterfront Botanical Gardens. By becoming a member, you’ll receive all the benefits of membership, plus you’ll continue the tradition of promoting an appreciation, understanding and conservation of plants and nature.
Donate to the Cause
You can play a leading role in helping to build the Education Pavilion. By making a donation today, you’ll help us achieve our goal of breaking ground in early 2017. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.
Buy a Brick
You can show your support for the future gardens by making a donation to our Buy a Brick campaign. In appreciation for donations of $100 and above, you can engrave a brick in the Founders’ Garden at the Heigold Facade. If your brick is a gift, let us know and we’ll mail you a gift acknowledgement that you can give to the recipient!
Have you considered including the gardens in your estate plans? While there are several approaches, one of the simplest is to make a bequest by including a gift to the Waterfront Botanical Gardens in your will. If you have questions about planned giving, please contact us.
You can honor a friend or family member by making a donation in their memory. Memorial gifts are a wonderful way to establish a link with the past and promote a vision for the future.
Gifts of Stock or Securities
Some donors prefer to support the botanical garden effort by donating stock instead of writing a check. With careful planning, you may be able to reduce capital gains tax while supporting our work. Please contact us for more information.
