Donate to Support the Gardens
We have raised over $24 million in support of the Waterfront Botanical Gardens.
The Graeser Family Education Center is the first building of Louisville’s gardens. At the heart of our educational programming, this flexible space will be the perfect home for field trips by schoolchildren, conference speakers, flower shows, and other special events.
We’ve come a long way, but our work is not yet complete.
Will you help us continue the momentum? By making a donation today, your support will play a direct role in making our community’s dream a reality. Building the gardens will be possible only through the generous support of people like you.
Donate Online
Your support ensures that the Gardens continue to grow both now and in the years to come. Become a part of the ongoing story of this educational and cultural treasure by making a donation today.
Sponsorship Opportunities
From buildings to gardens to trees, you can sponsor individual features that will be included in Phase I of the Gardens.
Buy a Brick
You can show your support for the future gardens by making a donation to our Buy a Brick campaign. We currently have bricks available in the Beargrass Creek Pathway. If your brick is a gift, let us know and we can include a gift acknowledgement with your thank you letter that you can send to the recipient.
Our next quarterly brick order will be sent to the engravers on June 1st.
LEGACY SOCIETY
Have you considered including the gardens in your estate plans? Become a member of the Legacy Society. While there are several approaches, one of the simplest is to make a bequest by including a gift to the Waterfront Botanical Gardens in your will.
If you have questions about planned giving, please contact us.
MEMORIAL GIFTS
You can honor a friend or family member by making a donation in their memory. Memorial gifts are a wonderful way to establish a link with the past and promote a vision for the future.
gifts of stock or securities
Some donors prefer to support the botanical garden effort by donating stock instead of writing a check. With careful planning, you may be able to reduce capital gains tax while supporting our work. Please contact us for more information.
