In Japanese folklore, it is said that if you fold 1,000 origami cranes (千羽鶴, senbazuru) your wish will come true.
Waterfront Botanical Gardens began with one simple wish: to create a world-class botanical
garden in the heart of Louisville. Thanks to supporters like you, that dream continues to grow.
Today, we invite you to join the 4th Annual Crane Campaign with a gift of $1,000 or more to
help continue the growth of Waterfront Botanical Gardens. Thanks to the generous support of
Nancy Davis, qualifying gifts made through October 1 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to
$50,000, doubling the impact of your generosity.
As a special thank you, donors who join the Crane Community this year will be invited to an
exclusive preview party for Gardens Aglimmer.
