Amazing New Installation at the Morris Arboretum

This blog entry comes to you courtesy of friend of Botanica, Alex Luken.

Check out this installation at the Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia!
When
I was in Charlestson, SC, last week with my daughter, who was presenting
at the International Making Cities Livable Conference, she had occasion
to meet an architect whose firm designed this installation.  This is an
interesting application of child-led design, incorporating nature and
what creates interactivity with space that is appealing to children
(and adults too!).  The imaginative appeal of being up in the trees and
pretending you're a bird or a squirrel changes how you look at trees,
both at the arboretum, and in general.
