This special Botanica event will present local artists and artwork for sale, showcasing botanicals in photography and paintings, and speakers on related topics. Art will be exhibited throughout the first floor of the Woman’s Club on Saturday, Sept 6 from 10 am to 5 pm.

Speakers will be scheduled throughout the day in the Woman’s Club Auditorium. Barbara Pierson, White Flower Farm’s Nursery Manager from Litchfield, CT, will be our highlighted speaker for the event. For more information on White Flower Farm visit whiteflowerfarm.com.

Artwork by the students of the Waldorf School will be showcased in the Frazier House. This year, three teachers will lead a summer camp designed to result in the production of artwork that will be sold at the Botanica Art & Garden event. The presentation will include paintings, drawings, video projections and live performance by Mike Eger (who danced with the Louisville Ballet and worked at Youth Performing Art School (YPAS)). The Frazier House will be open Friday evening, and Saturday 10-5.

Saturday’s ticket price is $10 per person, which provides entry into the event scheduled from 10am to 5pm. Tickets will be sold at the door. Food and Beverage will be available for purchase the day of the event. Botanica will promote the 1st Annual Art & Garden Fall Festival through its Website, membership, Facebook page, TV, print media. The channels of promotion by partnering sponsors will to be determined and developed prior to the event.

On Friday, Sept. 5th there will be a VIP Garden Party and Reception from 6 to 8pm, to be held at The Woman’s Club of Louisville. Attendees will pay $75 per person and be given a sneak peek and opportunity to purchase the artwork on display, as well as enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music, and the opportunity to meet the artists, speakers and sponsors.
