On Thursday, the Louisville Metro Council vote unanimously to declare the Botanica site ‘surplus property.’ The property is currently being leased by Botanica and is to be the site for the Waterfront Botanical Gardens. The Council’s action clears the way for the eventual purchase of the site by Botanica. We are excited to be one step closer to the Gardens becoming a reality!
