Celebrate Earth Week at WBG from April 16 – 21!
Sunday, April 16th

Create your own one-of-a-kind vase using recycled milk jugs! Using acrylic paint, students will paint on recycled plastic almond milk jugs to transform them into beautiful, one-of-a-kind vases to hold many future flower arrangements
Tuesday, April 18th
6pm to 8pm – $75 | $60 WBG members
Using home-collected leaves, students will make dramatic prints on bandanas to take home!
Wednesday, April 19th

Roll up your sleeves and get messy making seed bombs!

Students will learn which fungi work well with different plants, how and why mushrooms improve the soil and increase production, and how to install a mushroom bed at home through a hands-on demonstration.

Plant clover in a cup with googly eyes to give your cup-face some hair.

On both days families can borrow binoculars and bird guides to look for native birds in the Gardens!

Join Japanese Cultural Specialist Yuriko Yamamoto to make Teru Teru Bozu, a small handmade doll that is a sunshine charm! Hang it upright to wish for a sunny day, hang it upside-down, and wish for rain!
