Beargrass Creek Canoe Tours

Our popular excursions in voyageur-style canoe tours along the southern shore of the Ohio River and up its nearby tributary, Beargrass Creek are back for another season.
Paddle along or sit back to watch the shoreline, trees, and water for wildlife. Learn about the river and creek, local history and ecology, and the environment from tour leader, David Wicks.
Please dress for outdoor activity. Bring water and a snack. Low difficulty level. Tours suitable for ages 10 and up. No pets allowed.
Like jackets and paddles provided at the boathouse.
Seating limited and pre-registration required.
2020 Excursion schedule
Tuesday, April 21, 5 – 8 pm
Wednesday, April 29, 11 am – 2 pm
Thursday, May 7, 8 – 11 pm (Full Moon paddle)
Saturday, May 23, 11 am – 2 pm
No physical tickets will be distributed for this activity, all registrants are kept digitally.
Participants will receive a reminder email with further details and instructions TWO DAYS prior to their excursion.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
While we would like for everyone to be able to enjoy these tours, due to the unpredictable nature of the weather in the region and water quality conditions on the river and creek, there will be no refunds issued for missed or cancelled excursions.
Please only register if you are comfortable with the possibility that your tour could be cancelled.
If a tour is cancelled, we will attempt to schedule one make-up date, but that is also subject to weather and water quality.
No refunds issued, even in the event of a cancellation of the make-up tour.
