Join us for a 3-hour canoe tour of Beargrass Creek and its tributary into the Ohio River, with tour guide David Wicks.
Dress comfortably for outdoor activity. Waterproof shoes recommended, but not mandatory. Bring water and sunscreen. Low difficulty level. Suitable for ages 10 and up. Limit 12 per excursion.
On Tuesday, September 25, we will celebrate WBG's volunteers and all their hard work to keep this organization running (and growing!) Join WBG on Th. 11/1, from 6-8pm at The Olmsted for our 2018 Annual meeting, featuring guest speaker Spencer Crews, Executive Director Emeritus of Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha, another botanical garden built on a former landfill. Spencer Crews began his tenure in 1996 as the first executive director and led the organization for 22 years.
