Flower Arranging with Jana Clanton Dowds – Sold out!

Please join us for a flower arranging demonstration with Jana Clanton Dowds.

Jana will start with a pot et fleur arrangement incorporating fresh cut flowers with potted plants for a long lasting creation. Next, she will construct a contemporary design through a modern mass arrangement with tips for conditioning flowers and introduction to flower arranging tools. Lastly, Jana will create a fall dinner table design ideal for your Thanksgiving table. Instructional handouts provided.

Jana Clanton Dowds developed a passion for gardening over the years and is a past president of the Glenview Garden Club, which is a part of the Garden Club of America. She started her interest in floral design by attending FlowerSchool New York with the intensive design series, wedding series and many master classes with floral artists such as Christian Tortu, Olivier Guigni, Michael George, as well as design workshops with Lana Marks and Geert Pattyn.

She is a floral design candidate in the Garden Club of America judging program, learning to judge flower shows and enters regular and major shows around the country. Her home and garden have been on the Glenview Garden Club tour, the Kilgore Garden tour, as well as the Filson Historical Society tour. Her garden has also been featured on several GCA national horticulture tours and visiting gardens groups. Jana has a floral design business and creates arrangements for gift giving, weddings, parties, and events.
