Creating a Rain Garden
Saturday, April 30
10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Leslie Botanical Classroom
$15 nonmembers | $10 WBG members (use code WBGMEMBER at checkout)
Creating and sustaining a healthy rain garden in your yard can both control water runoff but also positively impact the local environment. In this discussion-based class, you can expect to learn about the benefits of these gardens, which attractive design is best suited for your yard, and how to maintain them throughout the year. Our Lead Horticulturists, Andrew Hagerty, will introduce key installation notes for new rain gardeners.
Refund Policy
Although we are unable to refund registration fees in the case of cancellation by the purchaser, the paid registration can be transferred to another student. In this case, please notify Kat Rivers at KRIVERS@WATERFRONTGARDENS.ORG or 502-276-5404 with the name of who will attend in your place. Multi-event series cannot be transferred. In the event that Waterfront Botanical Gardens cancels a class for any reason (e.g. low enrollment, instructor unavailability, natural hazard, etc.), we will attempt to reschedule the class or event. If there is no reschedule, the purchaser will be issued a full refund. Refunds are issued by check only.
Emergency Cancellation
In the event of an emergency cancellation, the Gardens will contact registered students with a cancellation notice (always provide/maintain a current email address and phone number so that we may notify you of an emergency or cancellation). The Gardens will attempt to reschedule classes cancelled due to an emergency event if possible.
