The first botanical photography used cyanotypes, a photographic printing process that produces cyan-blue pieces of art. This class teaches the basics of cyanotype photograms on paper. We will cover alternative and experimental exposure and toning techniques which produce colors other than blue! Participants are encouraged to bring a small object, plant, or textile for printing experiments.
