In this watercolor class, you’ll learn new techniques, refresh your vocabulary, and develop your skills through practice with winter subjects. Students will celebrate the colors and shapes of plants during winter through bundles of dried flowers, seed pods, and interesting sticks. Each student will work with their own bundle. Some prior experience with watercolor is advised before taking this class. Creativity will be encouraged! Each attendee will receive an apron they can take home. Supplies will be provided to complete one masterpiece.
Instructor: Dean Christensen is an award-winning Louisville based artist who has held solo exhibitions in Louisville, and Manhattan.

Refund Policy
Although we are unable to refund registration fees in the case of cancellation by the purchaser, the paid registration can be transferred to another student. Please notify Kat Rivers at KRIVERS@WATERFRONTGARDENS.ORG or 502-276-5404 with the name of who will attend in your place.
In the event that Waterfront Botanical Gardens cancels a class for any reason (e.g. low enrollment, instructor unavailability, natural hazard, etc.), we will contact you by email, and we will attempt to reschedule the class or event. If there is no reschedule, the purchaser will be issued a full refund. Refunds are issued by check only.
Emergency Cancellation
In the event of an emergency cancellation, the Gardens will contact registered students with a cancellation notice (always provide/maintain a current email address and phone number so that we may notify you of an emergency or cancellation). The Gardens will attempt to reschedule classes cancelled due to an emergency event if possible.
