Leslie Botanical Classrooms
$50, $45 WBG members (use code WBGMEMBER at checkout to receive discount)
This is the first program to be hosted in our new Leslie Botanical Classrooms, and we are delighted to be sharing it with Louisville-based artist, Dean Christensen. Celebrate with us by enjoying a relaxing and creative evening at the Gardens!
Dean will guide you through the steps of painting some flowers in bloom – or, go free form and paint flowers from life! All levels of artistic ability are invited, and creativity will be encouraged. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
Meet our Artist: Dean Christensen is an award winning Louisville based artist who has held solo exhibitions in Louisville, and Manhattan. Dean’s teaching experience consists of four years teaching corporate events in NYC.
This is perfect for a friends night out, a date night, or an individual creative experience.
Although we are unable to refund registration fees in the case of cancellation by the purchaser, the paid registration can be transferred to another student. In this case, please notify Kat Rivers at KRIVERS@WATERFRONTGARDENS.ORG or 502-276-5404 with the name of who will attend in your place. Multi-event series cannot be transferred. In the event that Waterfront Botanical Gardens cancels a class for any reason (e.g. low enrollment, instructor unavailability, natural hazard, etc.), we will attempt to reschedule the class or event. If there is no reschedule, the purchaser will be issued a full refund. Refunds are issued by check only. Beargrass Canoe Tours have a different policy with no refunds under any circumstance because of river and weather volatility.
In the event of an emergency cancellation, the Gardens will contact registered students with a cancellation notice (always provide/maintain a current email address and phone number so that we may notify you of an emergency or cancellation). The Gardens will attempt to reschedule classes cancelled due to an emergency event if possible.
