Bonsai Demonstration (Saturday)

In these demonstrations Phil Malhiot will take rough stock material (TBD) and demonstrate his vision for how to take that material and transform it into something that will be recognizable as a potential future bonsai. This demonstration will include trimming, wiring, and shaping of the material and may include the creation of deadwood and/or carving depending on the final material selected. While engaged in the demonstration Phil will discuss general care and maintenance and take questions from the audience. It will be a real-time experience of seeing some first steps taken to create a new bonsai tree!
