Explore Mary Delany’s (1700-1788) work in “paper mosaics” or botanical collages. Like Delany, each participant will reference fresh flowers while creating a colorful, layered, paper collage. Through observation, quick sketches, cutting, and layering we’ll use scissors and X-Acto knives to emulate the detail, vibrancy, and beauty of what we see in Delany’s work and in the natural world around us.
