EARTH DAY SCHEDULE
MEMBER MORNING: 8 – 9AM
Enjoy a members-only stroll on the Gardens plaza before we open to the public. Coffee, tea, and light bites provided. Help us reduce waste by bringing your own mug from home!

CONSERVATION & COFFEE WITH KAREN MAYNARD, PUBLIC WORKS: 9 – 10AM
Register for this special conversation on how you can prevent and reduce food waste. Presented by Karen Maynard, Department of Public Works. This program is free with a suggested donation of $5/learner.
YOUTH PROGRAMMING STATIONS ON THE PLAZA: 10AM – 12PM
Local Home School families are invited to spend Earth Day with Waterfront Botanical Gardens. Drop-in anytime between 10:00 a.m and 12:00 p.m. to visit our learning stations focused on how you and your family can care for our planet. If weather is poor, all stations will be moved indoors. The event will not be canceled. The program is free with a suggested donation of $5/learner. Participants must pre-register for the program below before Monday, April 15th.
NEIGHBORHOOD TRASH CLEANUP: 1 – 3PM
Join the Gardens staff for a neighborhood trash cleanup! Volunteers are welcome to join us as we walk the area picking up trash. All supplies will be provided. Interested? Email info@waterfrontgardens.org
SORTING TRASH VS. RECYCLING: 3 – 4PM
We will meet back at the Gardens at 3pm to sort items that can be recycled from those that will go to the landfill. All supplies will be provided. Interested? Email info@waterfrontgardens.org
