Garden Wake-Up and Getting to Work

Winter fades away in March and your garden soil and dormant plants begin to wake up. What tasks should you be doing? Time to get those fingernails dirty! Do you prune, throw down mulch, or till the soil now? What about annuals, perennials, shrubs, or trees? What about the lawn? Ask questions related to preparing your garden beds, activating your compost pile, and getting a start on spring blooms and seasonal crops.
WBG’s horticulture team will share tasks, know-how, and timing of items gardeners should tackle as the growing season gets underway.
