Roll up your virtual sleeves and follow along during this one-hour introductory papermaking workshop demonstration live from the papermaking studio at the University of Louisville.
Rachel Singel, Associate Professor of Art at UofL, leads the way!
Learn to create unique sheets of (Western-style) paper with moulds and deckles and a variety of fibers. She will discuss the history of papermaking and its contemporary uses as an art-making material.
Stay safe and warm at home as Rachel makes sheets of paper that may be used for drawing, painting, printmaking and 3-D constructions.
