This luncheon features:
“Winged Landscapes – Birds, Butterflies, and Insects”
Vibrant flowers and a layered landscape attract singing birds and beautiful butterflies, as well as bees. Tavia will recommend tried and true plants and methods to create a garden paradise for your favorite winged creatures. She’ll share entertaining flower stories and folklore, as she presents the dependence of pollinators on particular plants. Don’t miss this eye-opening and entertaining presentation.
Tavia Cathcart Brown is executive director of the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve in Goshen, author of several books on wildflowers, and host of KET’s Kentucky’s Secret Gardens.

Refund Policy
Although we are unable to refund registration fees in the case of cancellation by the purchaser, the paid registration can be transferred to another student. In this case, please notify Allison Whitehouse at awhitehouse@waterfrontgardens.
Emergency Cancellation
In the event of an emergency cancellation, the Gardens will contact registered students with a cancellation notice (always provide/maintain a current email address and phone number so that we may notify you of an emergency or cancellation). The Gardens will attempt to reschedule classes cancelled due to an emergency event if possible.
