John Ramsey welcomes Waterfront Botanical Gardens to the Listens Live! studio.
Director of Development John King shares the history of the Waterfront Botanical Gardens site, as well as plans for the future. The 23-acre site is build on top of the former Ohio Street Dump. Donations from Emil and Nancy Graeser funded the Graeser Family Education Center. In October 2019, over $5 million was received from Ellen T. Leslie which will fund the future Ellen T. Leslie Botanical Classrooms. You can contribute to the growth of the Gardens here.
