With roots from south-central Kentucky, Steve Clements will delight you with several delicious classic southern favorites in appetizer form. Steve will showcase a Clementsville tasting experience using items from the Avish kitchen garden as well as those of his farmer friends. At this time of the year, Kentucky corn and tomatoes are plentiful. Steve’s evening demonstration will focus on using these two ingredients along with other fresh herbs and veggies to create several unique and memorable delights from the garden. And of course, a nip of Kentucky bourbon will be included.

Refund Policy

Although we are unable to refund registration fees in the case of cancellation by the purchaser, the paid registration can be transferred to another student. In this case, please notify Allison Whitehouse at awhitehouse@waterfrontgardens.org or 502-276-5404 with the name of who will attend in your place. Multi-event series cannot be transferred. In the event that Waterfront Botanical Gardens cancels a class for any reason (e.g. low enrollment, instructor unavailability, natural hazard, etc.), we will attempt to reschedule the class or event. If there is no reschedule, the purchaser will be issued a full refund. Refunds are issued by check only.

Emergency Cancellation

In the event of an emergency cancellation, the Gardens will contact registered students with a cancellation notice (always provide/maintain a current email address and phone number so that we may notify you of an emergency or cancellation). The Gardens will attempt to reschedule classes cancelled due to an emergency event if possible.
